Hottest Alive

This man is the hottest man alive!!

I am so in love with him and all that he does for me and for our family! He always puts his wants and needs on the back burner to make sure we have the things we need. He is kind and soft-hearted, but don't tell him that because he will deny it to the end!

As soon as the call for neons came from Dhee at The Fab Clique I knew EXACTLY what I was going to make for Coby. He only has one hoodie and I didn't make it so that automatically makes it not as good, right? 😂😂😂 Well, maybe it's just as good, but not nearly as sentimental. And this 10 oz Heathered Neon Yellow Cotton Lycra is just about the best I could have chosen to make him a hoodie with. It's bright, breathable and fashionable for him while he's riding his new motorcycle back and forth to work.

I went back and forth on exactly which pattern I wanted to use and ended up settling on the Berlin Tee by Toby K because it is so well-drafted and has some amazing options! Just as a quick note, Toby K is the only PDF pattern company I know of that designs specifically for men. I did end up modifying this one a bit because I wanted more of a hoodie fit that he could layer under, so I sized up 2 sizes and to get that feel I needed to add a band to the bottom.

Toby K Berlin Tee Options:

Sleeves:

  • Tank
  • Short
  • Long hemmed
  • Long with Thumb-hole Cuffs (my option)
Neckline:
  • Crew
  • V-neck
  • Hood (my option)
  • Hood with Zipper
Hem:
  • Straight Hemmed
  • Asymmetrical Hemmed
  • I made my own option

Coby looks great! He loves his shirt! And he will glow while riding his motorcycle and I can be happy knowing that he is wearing something I made with love instead of something from the store!

What is your favorite kind of clothes to wear? Do you enjoy one article of clothing over another for sentimental purposes?
