Boy's Triple Play for girls

Summer is coming quickly! I am so excited! Having the children home all day, sleeping in and going to bed late, hanging out, BBQs and ice cream, shorts and tank tops!

Confession, I don't wear shorts or tank tops, but my kids do! And they do it so well!

Especially Kaylie! This child has yet to ever have a sunburn, so she really likes tank tops because she is cool and comfy and doesn't have to worry about red burns or peeling shoulders. Lucky girl...

This racerback top is one I made for her last year that is still getting a lot of love! It's the Pickle Toes Patterns Triple Play Tank. Its pretty much the only tank top pattern you will ever need! It goes from size 2 to size 22!! Big kid sizes are always so nice to have! It's a straight side cut, so perfect for boys! I graded Kaylie's waist in according to her measurements and gave her more feminine curves. Check out this blog about the ones I made for my boys!

The back is solid, but the front is color-blocked! There is a solid front option as well. But, I love a good color block that I don't have to figure out myself! And it's a great way to use up scraps! I had this adorable chunk of DBP that Kay had been desperate for me to use for a shirt for her, but DBP is super warm in the summer, so I used it for the center panel and it is perfect! The tank looks adorable but isn't hot and sweaty and I used almost every single bit of my scrap! Win/win!

There is also this adorable pocket on the front! And it comes in two different shapes! Yeah, pretty much the only tank you are ever going to need

So, to round this all up, let's look at the options:
3 back tank options (vest, athletic and racerback)
2 front options (solid and color-blocked)
3 pocket styles (square, pentagon and none)
          Bands or binding

Yeah, pretty much the only tank you are going to need for your kids will be the Triple Play. And the best part, there is a Men's Triple Play so that even your big "kids" can match!

Do you like to dress like your children occasionally? Maybe just for special occasions? What is your favorites of all time?
